Submit to SSNAP 2025The Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP) is a biennial competition and exhibition of Canadian visual art. Offering $52,000 in awards, SSNAP is one of Canada’s largest celebrations of contemporary art. The prize is administered by the not-for-profit Salt Spring National Art Prize Society to recognize, showcase and advance the accomplishments of Canadian visual artists.

The Salt Spring National Art Prize is managed by the SSNAP Society, a registered charity based on Salt Spring Island, BC, the ancestral and unceded traditional territory of the Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples. Since its inception in 2015, the society has sought to advance, recognize, and nurture artistic creativity and originality in Canadian visual arts.
