Volunteer

SSNAP Society appreciates all our dedicated volunteers – more than 100! Our nationally recognized exhibitions and events on beautiful Salt Spring Island are presented with the help of many generous individuals. We are committed to making the volunteer experience fulfilling and enjoyable. For more information on volunteering, please get in touch.

SSNAP and PAS 2023 Exhibition opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities have now been posted for SSNAP – Salt Spring National Art Prize and PAS – Parallel Art Show, on Salt Spring Island September 23 – October 23.

If you are interested in volunteering with Exhibition Show Sitting, please look at our calendar of opportunities in the Show Sitters Sign-Up below and find available dates and times that work for you.

Show Sitting involves greeting guests at our exhibition locations – Mahon Hall and ArtSpring. Morning or afternoon shifts include accepting pre-paid tickets at the door or selling admission tickets on the spot and assisting our show managers with other casual tasks. Training is provided and supervision is always available.

We look forward to welcoming back many of our past volunteers and to meeting new friends offering to join us this year.
