Volunteer

SSNAP’s success owes a great deal to its dedicated team of more than 100 volunteers. We aim to make volunteering a fulfilling experience for those whose generosity helps SSNAP events run so successfully.

Opportunities

Our volunteers are a committed group and many return year on year. Give it a go and discover why! Volunteers take on as much or as little as they wish, and there’s something to suit every interest.

  • Gallery sitting (Greeting public / supervising Hall Exhibit / facilitating Youth Gallery tours and art sessions)
  • Documentation (Photography / archiving / videography)
  • Transportation (Driving visitors / supplies)
  • Events (Ticket sales / Hospitality / Front of House / Clean-up crew)
  • Shipping and receiving artworks
  • Assistance in hanging the shows
  • Media and marketing support
  • Board or Steering Committee

  • Learn new skills
  • Be part of a vibrant and welcoming local arts community
