The Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP) is a biennial juried open competition focused on Canadian contemporary visual arts. Approximately fifty finalists are selected for the exhibition by an independent national jury. We invite all Canadian artists whose work exemplifies originality, quality, integrity, and creativity to submit work for consideration.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an artwork:

  • must have been completed on or after January 1, 2022
  • must have been created by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident over the age of 18
  • must not have been shown previously in any juried exhibition

Each entry will be screened by the organizers to ensure that the Conditions of Entry are met. Entries that do not meet the requirements stated in the Conditions of Entry will not be adjudicated.

How to submit

Submissions to SSNAP must be made using the online entry form. A separate entry form and fee must be supplied for each work submitted.
