This spring, SSNAP was grateful to gather with many of the volunteers whose time, energy, and generosity help sustain the organization year-round. Hosted at Kutatás Winery on Salt Spring Island, our volunteer appreciation day offered an opportunity to reconnect, reflect on the past exhibition cycle, and celebrate the community that makes SSNAP possible behind the scenes.

From exhibition installation and visitor support to events, outreach, and administration, volunteers continue to play an essential role in shaping the experience of the Prize for artists and audiences alike.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed their time and care to SSNAP over the years. Your support strengthens not only the exhibition itself, but the broader cultural community that surrounds it.

Special thanks to the Volunteer Appreciation Committee: Curatorial Director Zoe Zafiris Casey, Charlotte Phillips, and SSNAP Board Member Heidi Kuhrt for organizing a wonderful afternoon and creating such a welcoming, enjoyable experience for our volunteers.
