The Submission Guidelines for the Salt Spring National Art Prize 2027–2028 cycle are now available.

Artists considering applying to the next Prize are encouraged to review the guidelines carefully before preparing their submissions. The document outlines eligibility requirements, artwork specifications, and important details related to the submission process.

For the upcoming Prize cycle, eligible works must be substantially created on or after January 1, 2026. Artists may submit up to three works for adjudication, though only one work may ultimately be selected for exhibition.

The guidelines also include important information regarding artwork dimensions, weight restrictions, and presentation requirements for both wall-mounted and free-standing works.

Artists are encouraged to begin planning and developing new work with these requirements in mind.
