Mar 17, 2026 2 min read Meet the SSNAP 2027/28 Jury SSNAP proudly welcomes they 2027/28 Jury Jeffrey Boone Jeffrey Boone is an art professional working with artists, collectors, dealers, and cultural institutions, with experience in acquisitions, exhibitions, events, and international tours. With a background in cultural event management, art consulting, and gallery dealing, he brings sustained practical and critical engagement to contemporary art. He was the first recipient of a BFA from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has a Master of Arts in Critical Curatorial Studies in Art History from UBC. He has served as Programmer and Chair of the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver and has been a patron of the Royal Academy of Arts and Chisenhale Gallery. His primary interest is advancing public accessibility to contemporary art and its discourses. Melanie Colosimo Melanie Colosimo (she/her) is an artist and arts administrator from Atlantic Canada. With 15 years at NSCAD University, she served as Director/Curator, overseeing 100 exhibitions and establishing initiatives like the Treaty Space Gallery and Art Bar + Projects. In 2023, she became Director/Curator at the MSVU Art Gallery and is currently the Manager of Exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. As an artist, Melanie explores themes of labour and community dynamics through drawing, soft sculpture, and installation. Throughout her career she has prioritized mentorship and supporting the promotion of the Atlantic art community. Corrine Hunt Corrine Hunt is a Komoyue multi-media artist from Tsakis on Vancouver Island. Corrine has worked for decades to bring the rich traditions of her family to life in a vibrant and modern aesthetic. Corrine co-designed the Olympic medals for Vancouver 2010. Corrine was awarded the National Aboriginal Achievement award for Arts (2011), the BC Achievement Award for Art (2012). Corrine has designed Museum Exhibits in Dresden, Germany; New York, NY, Alert Bay. Furniture and sculpture can be found in collections at the Museum of History, Quebec; the British Museum, London and in Dresden, Germany. Corrine’s passion is to bring her vision of joy, through her design, to the world. Liz Ikiriko Liz Ikiriko is a Tkaronto/Toronto–based artist and curator. Her work engages questions of power, systems of oppression, and the social conditions that shape how we see, relate, and belong. Ikiriko is the Curator at Gallery TPW and co-founder, with Toleen Touq, of wave~form~projects, a curatorial collective. She has previously held curatorial roles at the Art Museum at the University of Toronto and the Art Gallery of York University, and served on the curatorial committee for the 13th Bamako Encounters African Biennial of Photography in Mali. Her writing and contributions appear in publications such as As We Rise: Photography (and) Sounds from the Black Atlantic(Aperture, 2022), Capture Photography Festival, Public Journal, C Magazine, Blackflash, and M,I,C,E magazine.
