“In The Studio, Self Portrait” acts as both a still life and self-portrait. The photograph shows my studio during residency last summer. During that time I grew interested in the tradition of self-portraits for the first time. Visible is the self-portrait, the small mirror used to do the drawing and other art-making tools and sources of inspiration.
