Liam is an emerging artist and graduate of the UVIC Visual Arts program, where he specialized in highly intricate pen and ink drawings and paintings. Currently based in Victoria, Liam was raised on Gabriola Island BC and draws much of his inspiration from time in nature. The other key ingredient in his work is a fascination with storytelling and history, looking at human systems as essentially narrative driven. For the last three years he has worked on the Ideologues series, an ongoing exercise in visual storytelling borrowing influence from illustration, religious art and the absurd.
