Her Story 1&2…’ acquired its name in reference to the five plus hour two part film it was created in response to. (It’s not the name of the film) One panel was created on each of two successive evenings and the two panels joined later. It is part of a larger series of drawings all created in real time to mostly foreign and subtitled films, drawing fragments as they pass on the screen. The hectic nature of this activity adds a certain automatism to the drawing process which I feel helps reduce over thinking and possibly heightens the intuitive.
