This gallows humor healed me from my stupor. We’ve been on a plague-like uncharted journey of masking, poking, shunning isolation, boredom, and, let’s face it, fear. It’s in this New World ‘existential’ disorder and absurdity that I find solace, hope, and grief in communing with a fly, sneezing in a mask, or getting poked in my snout. We are survivors, and many are not.
