The Parallel Art Show 2023/24 (PAS) is a juried competition and exhibition of Southern Gulf Islands artists that runs concurrently with the Salt Spring National Art Prize. This year’s jury – Sophia Burke, Helen Mears, and Richard Steel – have chosen 44 local artists for the exhibition. The finalists are showing two- and three-dimensional works across many mediums. Featuring $7,500 in awards, the Parallel Art Show highlights the finest Southern Gulf Islands artists and their unique artistic styles. This is the 4th biennial PAS.

Get a first look at the artworks at the opening reception. SSNAP representatives and many exhibiting artists will be in attendance. Cellist Helena Jung will grace the event with a performance between 6:00 and 7:30 pm. Cash bar by donation.

We gratefully thank the Country Grocer group of companies for sponsoring this event and for providing bar service.

Artworks may be purchased at the exhibition or online here.
