Untitled Carolyn MountWinnipeg, MB Size 8" x 18" x 32" Medium Hand-built soda fired stoneware I committed to gifting or trading all the work I made for a year as a means and way of building community. Through one aspect of this project, I made 120 trades over a four-month period. Overwhelmed with the reception of the project, I created a cairn made from hand-built ceramic rocks. Recognizing each individual I connected with, a rock was formed to honour my connection with them and to mark the path we collectively took together.
