The “Let Go” Pandemic series are reflections on a state of mind the threat of Covid put on society. I created these mediative artworks to process constantly changing regulations and worries about losing loved ones. “Let go in Purple and Magenta” was painted in solitude. I created the colour by painting thin liquid layers. Through each layer the fears and worries of the troubled world dissolve into magical moments to help to refocus and experience beauty, calmness, and the deepness of the colour. This painting is an expression of an emotional state and a contemplation upon living during the world health crisis.
