#6 is one of 12 drawings in “The Sexagesimal Series,” a numerical notation that uses the powers of 60. The sexagesimal system is an ancient system of counting and calculation used to measure time, attributed to the ancient Sumerian culture of southern Iraq (4500–4000 BC).

It is widely believed to be rooted in the 12-moon cycles driving one calendar year and the 60 seconds measuring one minute of time, both of which are still perfectly in use in our modern societies.
