Ceramic vessel, found wood, acrylic paint
Untitled Black, from the series objects of Silence: A handmade ceramic vessel and found painted wood assemblage. The vessel is being intervened by a wooden structure or vis versa. In this inanimate action they cancel one another. Totally exhausted by the meanings and explanations that are shouting at us everywhere, I had the necessity to make work about silence to make space for feeling. The objects are closed, muted and untitled. The meaning is not obvious and resists the idea of instant comprehension. The work hopes to force us to be with the sculpture and gaze into its mystery.
