Debra Frances is a book artist whose sculptural works explore the intersection of nature and narrative. Using foraged and natural materials, she creates unconventional books that challenge traditional forms. Trained in classic bookbinding, she earned her Core Certificate in Book Arts from the Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis and has studied with several master bookbinders. Her technically grounded, experimental approach treats the book as a tactile and conceptual art form. Debra’s artists' books have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are held in major special collections across North America.
