In my photography, I invite viewers to reflect on the hidden beauty that surrounds us. For me, the ferry ride is more than a commute. It is a moment of pause—a chance to disconnect and observe. In DeckView, I seek to capture compositions that echo the quiet, contemplative nature of Edward Hopper and Christopher Pratt’s paintings. The stark geometry of the ferry intersects with the fluid reflections of the natural world. This juxtaposition encourages us to look beyond the obvious, to consider the layered meanings waiting to be seen that exist in every moment.
