These images are part of a series about Tofino, British Columbia, in which the artist explores our collective pursuit of paradise and the unintended consequences of chasing that dream. The work looks at an assorted set of characters who are in complex relationships with each other and the land that binds them. By questioning what “paradise” really means, along with the impacts of modern tourism and development, the series invites viewers on a journey through the rugged landscapes and into the homes of those who live at the end of the road.
