Relive the excitement of the 2025 Salt Spring National Art Prize Gala & Awards, now available to watch online. Filmed live at ArtSpring, the evening celebrated 52 finalists from across Canada and awarded over $52,000 in prizes.

Anna Gustafson of Salt Spring Island received the $20,000 Salt Spring Prize: The Joan McConnell Award for What George Said…, a text-based fibre work reinterpreting a 1930s cross-stitch sampler made by the artist’s mother.
 
The evening also honoured outstanding local artists through the Parallel Art Show (PAS) awards, recognizing excellence among Gulf Islands artists, and the Youth Exhibition Award, celebrating emerging creativity and imagination from young artists across the community.
