West Coast WildFire is inspired by the natural phenomenon of wildfires, recognizing the beauty and power of nature’s cyclical processes. While humans contribute to 25% of wildfires devastation, the majority are naturally caused, often by lightning, and play a vital role in the ecosystem. The artist, witnessing the unique beauty of a wildfire one morning, captured its essence in a sketch and then recreated it in the studio.
