Not One to Collide seeks to destabilize socio-rigid frameworks around time, human consciousness and mortality. It alludes to worlds within worlds, created simply by the gaze of the observer. Here, oscillating frequencies – fractured by dimensional terrains – concoct a cadence of metaphysical propulsion across infinite realms. A molten-red conviction of self, coming to fruition through guidance from celestial acknowledgements. A work about the fluidity of human existence, the paradigm of self, and a thirst for reaching out beyond the governance of ideologies. We are stardust.

Vick NareshHAMILTON, Ontario
Vick Naresh [b. Mumbai, India] is a contemporary artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. Through a process of multi-layered abstraction, Naresh carefully combines biomorphic complexities, geometric structures, and the manifestation of imagined environments using vibrant colour. Exploring displacement, identity, and memory, his work is derived from a wide array of lived inspirations and art historical references but also dwells within the realms of spiritual and scientific acknowledgements. He has exhibited in Canada and internationally, at ART Toronto, Art Gallery of Hamilton, Dianna Witte Gallery (Toronto), CAMP Gallery (Miami), Monica Reyes Gallery (Vancouver) & 19Karen Gallery (Brisbane), among others.
