Acrylic on raw round canvas
All the Tears I Cried is inspired by the poem “I Have Been a Thousand Different Women”. This painting is an homage to all women-every version of ourselves: confident, lost, messy, radiant, mother, sister, grandmother, friend. Created with liquid acrylic on round canvas in a rare crimson pigment, and painted with many thin layers, the circular shape symbolizes unity and continuity, while the unique pigment reflects the individuality of each woman. The flowing movement of the paint expresses the tears we’ve cried-of pain, grief, and joy-capturing the emotional depth and layered identities that shape who we continue to become.
