“Sideshow II” is an artifact of an ongoing investigation of how performance can be used to physically negotiate paradigms of painterly abstraction. This research includes physically performing common painterly tropes under dynamically sewn fabric garments which mimic the skin of a painting. The performances are then a re-materialized and pictorially
re-embodied through the creation of large-scale photographic aluminum collage.
