Garry Kaye was born and raised on Salt Spring Island, where he continues to work out of his home-based studio, drawing inspiration from the landscapes that surround his home.
He graduated from the Vancouver School of Art in 1964. Garry has been the recipient of several awards, including the Alliance of Salt Spring Artists Award and first place in the People’s Choice Award in the 2017 SSNAP Exhibition. His work has been widely exhibited and is part of several private collections. Garry is currently represented by the Steffich Fine Art Gallery on Salt Spring Island.
