Landscape Imagined Elaine PotterSalt Spring Island, BC Dimension 60" x 48" Médium Acrylic on canvas The inspiration for “Landscape Imagined” comes from my strong connection to the natural environment. I work with intuition and subconsciously stored images, often starting from an exploration of marks, lines, and form. I use colour to evoke the energy and mood of the subject, which is often a hybrid of a real and/or imagined landscapes. No longer a simple documentation of a place, this painting seeks to capture the shifting character and emotional weight these places evoke.
