I draw my inspiration from nature, history, and spirit. It’s my aim to create things which have a living energy and vibration embodied in them. In this case made mostly of natural materials that came from this island expressing not only the beauty of the Gulf Islands, but the sound of the ancient world.

I was born and raised in Vancouver and moved to Salt Spring about ten years ago, and since I was very young, I’ve always loved to create. Working with natural materials such as wood, fire, metal, stone, and bone are my mediums of choice, and drawing on nature, history, living and past cultures, as well as my own experiences in spirit are what I embody in my work.
