She grew up in Portland, Oregon where she earned a BFA degree in drawing/painting and learned various printmaking techniques at Pacific NW College of Art. Her prints depict places she has worked and lived in; from the remote landscapes of Antarctica, Alaska, to the open ocean and of the wilderness of Canada; there is a personal connection to each place.
