I am a self-taught photographer. By diving, headfirst, into the world of commercial photography, I learned by trial and error and with the help of a few fundamental courses and workshops, how to use a camera and make images. For over 20 years my wife Amy and I opened the doors to our business in our small, rural community in Northern California to everything photographic. From museum work, to portraiture, to product photography. Even police work. Over the years, my work has matured away from the ‘product to sell work’, to work that speaks to me. I am influenced by the older style imagery of early photography and incorporate it within my vision.
