Throughout his career as a self-taught artist, David moved from wood to soapstone and explored working on canvas until he discovered clay as his medium. Clay provides him with the most versatility and freedom of form and colour. Being a sculptor by heart and closely attuned to the natural world around him, he finds infinite inspiration in the organic world, nature’s exquisite textures and shapes, and the interconnectedness of all beings. In his artwork, David expresses how he feels about the world surrounding him and what rings true to him. His art is in private and corporate collections around the world.
