Untitled David JacksonSalt Spring Island, BC Dimension 24" x 12" x 12" Médium Clay B mix laguna bisquefired to cone 06 Forty years ago I started my artistic path as a self-taught carver in wood and stone. Later on I explored other mediums such as canvas and most recently ceramics. Clay has afforded me more freedom to express movement and fluidity in my sculptures. I am inspired by the natural world around me especially birds where we live on this beautiful island.
