When Sunday, September 28, 2025 6 to 8 pm Where ArtSpring Galleries 100 Jackson Ave. Salt Spring Island The Parallel Art Show (PAS), exhibited at ArtSpring, is a juried exhibition showcasing artists from the Southern Gulf Islands presented alongside the Salt Spring National Art Prize. Featuring a diverse range of local talent, PAS highlights innovative contemporary work across disciplines and runs concurrently with The Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP). This year’s jury – Steven McNeil, Kim Pollard, and Alexandra Montgomery – have chosen 51 Southern Gulf Islands artists for the exhibition. Featuring $11,000 in awards, the Parallel Art Show highlights the finest Southern Gulf Islands artists and their unique artistic styles. Get a first look at the artworks at the opening reception. SSNAP representatives and many exhibiting artists will be in attendance. Cash bar by donation. Artworks may be purchased at the exhibition or online.
