My work plays with the concept of wonder, and combines sculptural forms as if looking through a lens at a section from something that is much larger and universal. I create using technologies such 3D printing and combine these with a crafted and slower approach to making.

Jenny Judge
Whistler, BC

Jenny Judge grew up in Ontario and received a BFA from Queens University. She also holds an MFA in sculpture from the University of Minnesota (1992). She works in a variety of materials such as clay, fibre, and glass, and focuses on craft-installation. She lived in New Zealand in 2004 where she was introduced to kiln-cast, and returned to Canada in 2012 where she now lives in Whistler, BC. Her work has been shown in New Zealand, Australia, Korea, Japan, France, and Canada, and in international exhibitions such as The Cheongju International Craft Exhibition (Canadian Pavilion, 2009), Ranamok Glass finalist (Australia 2012) and Craft and Innovation in Canberra, Australia (2016). She has a solo exhibition at The Craft Council of BC in September 2019.
