The Seal Boy Cheryl LongSalt Spring Island, BC Size 38" x 44" Medium Oil on canvas The Seal Boy-Reflections on Innocence. You’re a child who has not learned to be afraid and hide your innocence and joy as if they were crimes. Take heart he said. I will not lose myself in the shadows. I will look into their eyes as softly as a gentle rain until they remember. It may take a day, or one million, but eventually they will be stung by joy.
