It looks at how women have been punished, silenced, and pushed to the margins, whether for stepping outside social norms or simply wanting control over their own bodies. The same fear and power plays appear across centuries in different forms. These deaths, both past and present are senseless, rooted in control rather than justice. Each box remembers those who were targeted, erased and speaks to the ongoing fight for bodily autonomy. The struggle isn’t over; the pyre remains, its flames fed by new forms.
