Swan Danielle RobertsBrooklyn, NY Size 48" x 36" Medium Oil on Panel I created this work in response to my memories of a place that was close to me but now faces deterioration. Like architecture, memory becomes distorted over time. I like to think that lives that lived in a space or touched an object leave a permanent trace. I wanted to paint that trace.
